Lightspeed Pure Energy technology .v2
The Lightspeed Source power cord has been equipped with the newly developed special Pure Energy .v2 electronics, which filter out the DC components that pollute the AC power more effectively than the previous solution
This provides an even cleaner sinusoidal AC power, which results in more efficient operation. The special feature of the Lightspeed Pure Energy .v2 electronics is the lighting rings on the connectors, which give the Lightspeed Source power cords a unique look.
Structure
Lightspeed Source power cord has full separate symmetrical tri dual-core helix structure conductors, 12 AWG total conductive cross-section, separated multi-purpose shielding, and reduced resistance. The appearance of the Lightspeed Source model has the newest full-symmetrical 3D Vortex structure, which ensures symmetrical transverse positioning, thereby minimizing the inductive and capacitive effects of the parallel construction of the conductors, which negatively affects the alternating current phase accuracy.
The balanced, dual-core helix conductors are covered with a special antistatic foil, a tin-plated, tightly woven pure copper shield, synthetic polymer insulation and a special high-density polyester damping outer jacket. The high-density polyester layer has a lower dielectric constant than the commonly used PVC insulation, providing adequate protection against environmental vibrations.
The dual Nano Black Helix outer layer not only gives the Lightspeed Source power cords a unique and distinctive look, but the special metallized polymer film with a 500-nanometer-thick metal coating prevents radio frequencies and electromagnetic interference from entering the cord’s internal structure. Similar metallized polymer films are used in NASA space suits to reflect radiation and are also used as an antistatic layer in aircraft insulation materials. The fields generated by the current in the pure copper conductors are effectively attenuated by the internal shielding, while the Nano Black Helix layer is responsible for external electromagnetic and radio frequency noise protection, which together reduce the negative interaction between the current flowing in the conductor and the insulation.
The Lightspeed Source features fully discrete, symmetrical dual-core helix conductors with a total conductive cross-section of 12 AWG, providing balanced and consistent power to connected devices. The advantage of the symmetrical dual-core helix design is symmetry, as each conductor has the same cross-section and electrical parameters, providing balanced, consistent and stable performance compared to unbalanced cables. Unbalanced cables, such as those with two-phase conductors, can cause continuous alternating current fluctuations due to different cross-sections and electrical parameters. Even the slightest fluctuation in the power supply can affect the stable operation of audio and video devices, causing continuous noise in the sound and picture.
Connectors
The Lightspeed Source model received high-quality, hand-selected polymer-composite connectors with pure copper contacts inside.
The rhodium-silver coating on the outside of the contacts provides the right connection, which has measurably better electrical parameters than, for example, gold coating and is more resistant to environmental impacts.
In addition to the high quality of the connectors, the special look is also emphasized by the built-in lighting. The lighting rings of the connectors give the Lightspeed Source model a unique look.
Made by hand
Each Lightspeed Source power cord is assembled entirely by hand, from the design of the vortex structure to the solder-free installation of the plugs. Each Lightspeed Source power cord is made with high precision and attention to detail, so it takes approximately 3 hours to complete a 5-foot-long Lightspeed Source power cord, including the final tests.
In addition to the high quality of the connectors, the special look is also emphasized by the built-in lighting. The lighting rings of the connectors give the Lightspeed Source model a unique look.
