Lightspeed Active Shielding Technology
The special feature of Lightspeed Active Shielding speaker cable is Active Shielding Technology, which provides exceptional noise immunity, so that even the smallest details are not lost in the music reproduction.

The “soul” of Active Shielding Technology is the active filter unit, which can be simply connected to the Lightspeed Active Shielding speaker cables and then to an electrical outlet. Active Shielding Technology makes the signal traveling through the speaker cables almost completely noise-free, so that more details reach the speakers and allows for a more natural, dynamic sound.
The Active Shielding Technology active filter unit does not conduct mains voltage into the speaker cable, the active filter unit can be used completely safely in any audio system.
Structure
The Lightspeed Active Shielding speaker cable features symmetrical quad tri-core helix conductors, 8 AWG full conductor cross-sections, separate multi-purpose conductors, reduced resistance, active shielding technology and, in the case of the bi-wire model, a separate low-frequency path. The appearance of the Lightspeed Active Shielding speaker cable has the newest 4D vortex structure, which ensures full-symmetrical transverse positioning, thereby minimizing the inductive and capacitive effects of the parallel construction of the conductors, which negatively affects the accuracy of the signal.

The symmetrical quad tri-core helix-structured conductors are coated with a special antistatic film, synthetic polymer insulation, and a special high-density polyester damping outer casing. The dielectric constant of the high-density polyester layer is lower than that of commonly used Teflon insulation and provides adequate protection against environmental vibrations.
The new dual Nano Black Helix outer layer not only gives the Lightspeed Active Shielding speaker cables a special and unique look, but the special metallised polymer film coated with a 500-nanometer-thick metal layer prevents radio frequencies and electromagnetic interference from entering the cable’s internal structure. Similar metallised polymer films are used in NASA spacesuits to reflect radiation and it has been applied as an antistatic layer for insulating materials in aircraft.
In pure copper conductors, the fields generated by the current are effectively attenuated by internal separation, while the Nano Black Helix layer is responsible for external electromagnetic and radio frequency noise protection, which together with Active Shielding Technology makes signal transmission almost completely noise-free.
In addition to the advantages of a full symmetrical design, the symmetrical quad tri-core helix structure effectively reduces the skin effect, as the conductors are not only composed of elementary strands but are arranged in separate groups. The cross-section of the conductors is small enough to prevent the development of a skin effect, but overall, the conductors have a suitable cross-section to ensure optimal signal transmission. The Lightspeed Active Shielding speaker cable bi-wire version includes full separate conductors per side and Active Shielding layers for low and mid/high-frequency signals for more accurate and more natural sound reproduction.
Connectors
The Lightspeed Active Shielding speaker cable has high-quality, selected pure silver-plated high-purity copper connectors.

The pure silver coating on the outside of the contacts provides a proper connection that has measurably better electrical parameters and clearer signal transmission than the gold coating.
The Lightspeed Active Shielding speaker cable is also available with high-quality pure copper-silver banana plugs or pure copper-silver spades.
Made by hand
Each Lightspeed Active Shielding speaker cable is assembled entirely by hand, from the design of the vortex structure to the solder-free installation of the plugs. Each Lightspeed Active Shielding speaker cable is made with high precision and attention to details, so it takes approximately 4-5 hours to complete a 7-foot-long Lightspeed Active Shielding speaker cable, including the final tests.
Lightspeed Active Shielding speaker cables are made with solder-free, precision manual mounting.
Lightspeed Active Shielding speaker cables are placed in a special anti-static fabric bag after the last quality control.
